(IsraelNN.com) Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni said Thursday afternoon that "if there is to be an agreement" between the Palestinian Authority (PA) and Israel, "it will be submitted for approval by the Knesset." She added that Israel's policies will distinguish between Gaza and between Judea and Samaria.

The Foreign Minister maintained that the Fatah-led PA, based in Ramallah, "is a new, legitimate government that accepts the terms of the international community." She also promised that the implementation of any agreement "will be subject to and conditional upon the other side’s ability to implement those points."
