(IsraelNN.com) Gaza-based terrorists fired eight mortar shells at the security fence near Sderot on Thursday evening.  One soldier was lightly wounded by shrapnel.  He was evacuated to Barzilai hospital. 

Terrorists have fired over a dozen rockets at Sderot this week, causing dozens of civilians to suffer from shock and damaging property.  The Security cabinet met Wednesday to discuss the issue and decided to maintain the status quo.  On Thursday, the government continued its defensive policy, placing 15 portable shelters on Sderot city streets.
