Muslims and religious Jews in the Ein Kerem area of Jerusalem have won an appeal to the High Court to force a halt to the destruction of a Muslim cemetery by missionaries, who intended to build their own burial grounds.
Chabad rabbi Yohonatan Shpitzer appealed to the Yad L'Achim organization to help stop the missionaries' activities. The group informed Muslim officials, who then turned to the High Court, which ordered a prohibition to the cemetery plan.
