IDF has revealed that Tuesday night's counter-terrorist operations in Shechem included raids on five Hamas "charity' offices, where documents and digital media were confiscated. The offices, part of the outlawed Da'wa organization, served as an "efficient and convenient apparatus for the financial infrastructure of terror organizations," security sources stated.
In what appears to be growing cooperation between the Palestinian Authority (PA) and the government in a crackdown on Hamas, PA Prime Minister Salam Fayyad ordered the closure of two charities, according to the Bethlehem-based Ma'an news agency.
PA security forces also closed a Hamas-linked media center in Tulkarm.
