(IsraelNN.com) Yariv Oppenheimer, the head of the extreme-left Peace Now group, released a statement on Tuesday night harshly criticizing members of the Yesha Council for attempting to win authorization for Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria.  The council members “have proven that there is no one to talk to when it comes to law enforcement,” he said.  Peace Now has often used the slogan “There is Someone to Talk to” to encourage negotiations with the Palestinian Authority.

Oppenheimer said the council members’ decision to visit unauthorized Jewish towns on Tuesday was “a provocation that exposed their true faces.”  He called on Defense Minister Ehud Barak to avoid negotiations with the council members, saying, “they have no intention of clearing out even a single caravan.”
