      Ahmadinejad: We Have 3,000 Centrifuges

Iran's bellicose president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad announced Sunday that his country had crossed the 3,000 centrifuge threshold. The centrifuges, which are used for uranium enrichment, should now be able to produce enough plutonium for a nuclear bomb in a year's time, according to experts' estimates.

"Every day we install a new production line," Ahmadinejad told Iranian news agencies.

In an interview to Der Spiegel, International Atomic Energy Agency Director General Mohamed ElBaradei said Sunday that the current round of talks between Iran and the West was Iran's final chance to solve its crisis with the West.
