Two explosions in the central market of the capital of Nepal on Sunday near the army's headquarters, a third bomb exploded inside a bus in the Balaju district and a fourth blast occurred near Tribhuvan University in Kirtipur, southwest of Kathmandu, according to a local police officer quoted by the Associated Press.

The city is a popular tourist destination for Israeli hikers who travel abroad after they complete their army service.

Two people were killed and 12 others were wounded in the blasts, four in critical condition. There has been no indication that Israelis were among the injured.
