Govt. to Declare Dozens of Jewish Towns Illegal

(IsraelNN.com) Government officials said Saturday that they would declare dozens of Jewish towns in Judea and Samaria illegal within three months.  89 towns and neighborhoods, including 63 that were established at least six years ago, are suspected of being illegal, officials said.

A government committee will meet on Sunday to discuss the issue.  The committee will be briefed by Attorney Talia Sasson, who wrote the Sasson Report.  The report accused the government of supporting illegal Jewish towns, and led to a freeze on government authorization of Jewish towns and neighborhoods in Judea and Samaria.
