Strategic Threats Minister Avigdor Lieberman, speaking on the Persian language channel of Voice of Israel government radio, advised Iranians to "think hard who they are voting for" the next time they go to the polls. He charged the Iranian government with "investing in world terror and Hizbullah [instead of] investing money in healthcare, education or the creation of jobs."

The Israel Our Home (Yisrael Beiteinu) minister added that economic sanctions should be used to stop Iran's development of nuclear capability and ruled out military action for the time being.
