The new train line from Modiin to Tel Aviv will begin operation Saturday night. The first train is scheduled to leave Modiin at 9:22 PM and the total travel time is estimated at 20 minutes. Cost of a one way ticket is NIS 12.5.

Once on schedule the train will run from 5:30 AM in the morning to 23:15 PM at night and will make a total of 58 trips per day. The Modiin to Tel Aviv train line was built at an overall cost of NIS 1.5 billion.

Jerusalemites are next in line for a rail line.
