A Fatah terrorist told journalist Aaron Klein that American training was a key towards helping the Arabs kill more than 1,000 Israelis since the Oslo War broke out seven years ago.
Writing in the WorldNetDaily, Klein said terrorist Abu Yousuf, a senior member of the Presidential Guard of Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, received American training in 1999, one year before the beginning for the war, also known as the Second Intifada. "I do not think that the operations of the Palestinian resistance would have been so successful and...without these [American] trainings," said Yousuf.
