The state prosecution Monday filed charges in the Haifa District Court against three youths from the Arab village of Fouradis, south of the port city of Haifa. The three youths, aged 17, 15 and 13, allegedly threw rocks at cars passing by their village.
The charge sheet gives details of three such attacks which occurred in August 2006. The youths threw rocks at a group of cars on one occasion, at a bus on a second and at a police car on a third.
They are charged with endangering public safety while driving and causing damage to property. Meanwhile, police are continuing to investigate if the three were involved in other rock attacks which occurred in Fouradis.
