Mohammed Haranveh, who took part in the murder of soldier Roee Parjun Hy”D, received a life sentence Tuesday from the Samarian Military Court. Haranveh was found guilty of planning the murder and driving the terrorist to the site of the attack. A year ago, two terrorists arrived at an army checkpoint near the town of Bekaot in the JordanValley. When approached by Roee Parjun, who was manning the checkpoint, they shot and killed at short range.

Roee was born 22 years ago as one of group of quadruplets. His father was killed in a work accident when he was only two and he was raised by his mother. Roee was the first casualty of the Nahal Haredi Brigade – an all religious unit. He was a traditional Jew who became observant while learning at the Bet-El Pre-Army Yeshiva.
