Western Poll: Less Than 1/2% Consider Israel Threat

A Financial Times/Harris Poll of four leading European nations and the US has found that only ½ % consider Israel the greatest threat to global stability.

The nations considered the greatest threat were: U.S. - 24 %, Iran - 18%, China - 17%, Iraq - 15% North Korea - 10%. The countries polled included France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy and the U.S.

The FT/Harris Poll was conducted online by Harris Interactive among a total of 6,398 adults (aged 16-64) during the first half of August 2007.
