Pensioners Knesset Member Sara Marom Shalev told a special session of the Knesset Monday that the 2008 budget bill should not be passed until financial assistance is in the hands of Holocaust survivors.

"I request that the Finance Minister make sure that the money arrives [to the survivors] before the holidays," added the MK, who also is a Holocaust survivor. After speaking, she felt ill and is being treated by medics.
