MKs from across the political spectrum slammed Prime Minister Ehud Olmert Sunday for his failure to reach an agreement with the majority of Holocaust survivors. The government has failed to provide funds to thousands of survivors who managed to escape being placed in Nazi death camps. The Israel Beiteinu party criticized the government for its lack of respect towards survivors and said the government should not distinguish between blood and blood. Meanwhile MK Zehava Gal-On, of the left wing Meretz party, slammed the government for abandoning the survivors and accused Olmert of using a divide and conquer strategy against the victims.
