(IsraelNN.com) The United States stopped an Iranian cargo plane from flying to Syria with missiles destined for Hizbullah terrorists on the eighth day of the Hizbullah terrorist war, it was revealed today. American officials persuaded Iraq and Turkey not to allow the plane to cross their air space on the way to Syria without inspections, and the cargo plane eventually returned to Tehran. --Israel lost on the military, political and diplomatic fronts in the war against Hizbullah terrorists, and things will get worse, according to a United Press International (UPI) report. It said that "Nothing [Israel] tried worked. Air power failed.... The attempts to blockade Lebanon ...failed.... Most seriously, the ground assault into Lebanon failed." The report noted that Israel's strategy of putting up a separation barrier to halt Arab terror also will not work. "Hamas rockets can fly over a wall as easily as Hizbullah rockets have flown over Israel's northern border." --Hizbullah terrorist leader Hassan Nasrallah must be killed, according to a report in The New York Times that quoted an unnamed senior IDF commander. "There is only one solution for him. This man must die," he told the newspaper. --Justice Minister Chaim Ramon has presented his resignation to Prime Minister Ehud Olmert. Ramon decided to resign following a decision by Attorney General Menachem Mazuz to press charges of sexual harassment against him. ![]() Check out the Chill Zone - Funny, Entertaining Videos © IsraelNN Syndications - This article may not be republished freely.
