(IsraelNN.com) Higher than usual humidity and normal summer temperatures are prevailing over Israel Sunday, but another wicked heat wave is headed to suffocate the country beginning on Wednesday. Temperatures Sunday through Tuesday will be 29-30 degrees Celsius (84-86 Fahrenheit) in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv and 33 degrees (91 F) in Be'er Sheva.

The thermometer will soar on Wednesday and continue to rise though Friday, reaching 32 (90 F) in Tel Aviv, 37 (99 F) in Jerusalem, 41 (106 F in Be'er Sheva) and 43 (109 F) at the Kinneret. In Eilat, it will reach 46 degrees (115 F). On the Sabbath, the weather will continue to be hot and sultry.
