(IsraelNN.com) The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee slammed a New York Police Department on homegrown terror and Saudi funding of terrorism. Committee director Kareem Shora called the report "Un-American and goes against everything for which we stand." The Council on American-Islamic Relations accused the police of "labeling almost every American Muslim as a potential terrorist," according to the New York Sun.

The newspaper's editorial also criticizes the police report for stating that homegrown terrorism is not "triggered by oppression, suffering, revenge or desperation" as it is in Israel. The report was supposed to be on terrorist attacks in the United States and presented no evidence for motivation of attacks against Israel, the editorial noted.

"Many of the attacks on Israel are motivated, inspired, supported, and funded by Saudi, Iranian, and Syrian agitators who are neither oppressed nor suffering nor desperate," it added.
