An Israeli intelligence officer, whose identity was kept secret, testified at a Dallas, Texas courthouse Thursday, in the trial against the "Holy Land Fund," the main fundraising branch for Hamas in the USA. The man was only identified as "Avi."
"Avi" was summoned at the request of the prosecution, in order to give a professional opinion regarding the evidence which the court received from Israel. He testified that the Holy Land Fund was founded by Hamas' number two man, Musa Abu Marzouk.
Last week, the court heard the testimony of another Israeli – an officer who went by the name of Major "Lior." Major "Lior" was the commanding officer in a raid on the offices of charity organizations in Judea and Samaria which serve Hamas in the transfer of funds.
