Government officials have said that as of Thursday morning, there are no known Israeli casualties in the earthquake in Peru that has killed at least 330 people and injured hundreds.

A Chabad representative in Lima reported that their hostel began to shake during the earthquake. A collapse in the telephone system prevented Israelis from reporting to their families back home that they were safe and sound.
