An IDF colonel told the Times of London, "It’s just a question of time" before Hizbullah engages Israel in another war. "They’ll try to attack Israel," said reserve Col. Kobi Maron, a former deputy commander of the eastern side of the Lebanese-Israeli border.
"As a guerrilla organization they have to continue to raise the flag of resistance against Israel. Otherwise, they’re just another political party in Lebanon," he explained. The Times also quoted Lebanese restaurant owner Laura Shukrala, "There’s going to be another war. The people talk about it all the time. They say it will be in September."
However, the IDF thinks that although Hizbullah has stockpiled new weapons, the United Nations Interim Forces (UNIFIL) have prevented the terrorist party from moving weapons into range of most of Israel.
