A popular Islamist Jihad website in Texas has posted a document title The Excellent Summary of the Rules of the Art of Kidnapping Americans, according to the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI). The 60-page guide gives readers details on how to select and abduct targets and also how to execute them in case negotiations fail.
The site advises kidnappers that they should be in good physical condition and should familiarize themselves with the area of the planned kidnapping. The abductors are told to use poisoning or hanging to execute the victim because shooting may be considered a more honorable death.
