MK Reuven Rivlin (Likud) said Monday that Kadima activists in Jerusalem are helping Likud candidate Moshe Feiglin in the primary elections. Rivlin did not offer proof for his claims, and similar claims made by other Likud activists have later been proven inaccurate. Current Likud head Binyamin Netanyahu has said that senior members of Kadima would like Feiglin to win the primaries, but has not accused Kadima of actually assisting Feiglin.
The Likud primaries will be held on Tuesday. Voter turnout is expected to be approximately 35%. If a second round of voting is necessary, it will take place on August 21st.
