Meretz party leader and Knesset Member Prof. Yossi Beilin charged Monday that the partnership of the Kadima and Labor parties breeds "piggish capitalism." Criticizing the budget approved by the Cabinet on Sunday, he said that the parties' coalition "easily can compete with the capitalism of the years of [Binyamin] Netanyahu" when he was Finance Minister.
"The Labor party has broken its own record in turning its back on everyone whom it is supposed to represent," MK Beilin stated. "The budget is a slap in the face" to the weaker sectors in society, he added.
