Meeting Monday to Discuss ‘First Circle’ Survivors

Government officials and representatives of Holocaust survivors will meet on Monday morning to discuss aid for elderly survivors.  The representatives plan to focus on “first circle” survivors—those who survived concentration camps.

Approximately 7,000 Israelis who survived concentration camps do not receive financial assistance.  The representatives and the government have agreed to give these “first circle” survivors top priority.  Future meetings will focus on “second circle” survivors, who fled the Nazi regime.
