(IsraelNN.com) The Tel Aviv Magistrates' Court issued an arrest warrant Sunday against Boaz Yonah, the majority shareholder of the Heftziba construction group. Should Yonah return to Israel, he will be arrested immediately.

The warrant is a local one and does not involve Interpol at this point. However, on the basis of this warrant, the police will be able to request an international arrest warrant, and ask Interpol to locate Yonah and bring him to Israel.

Yonah is suspected of fraud, embezzlement and money laundering. The collapse of his companies has left hundreds of Israelis homeless despite having paid for apartments.
