(IsraelNN.com) Police and officials in the Transport Ministry will meet to discuss how to handle the rest of the summer, after a particularly bloody weekend on the roads in which six people were killed. Two of those killed were a father and daughter, whose car was sliced into by a truck on Saturday night on the Tel Aviv-Jerusalem road by an Arab driver from Jerusalem, who had 190 tickets to his “credit.”

Among the issues to be discussed will be exactly how drivers such as this one are able to continue driving undisturbed after committing so many dangerous acts. Officials said they would likely greatly increase patrols on the road during the remaining weeks of summer.
