The Israeli Prisons Service authority has rejected Palestinian Authority (PA) requests for the relaxation of rules. The PA minister for prisoners affairs met with prisons officials Thursday in Ramle, southeast of Tel Aviv.
The PA wanted permission for prisoners to have cellular phones and also requested less thorough security checks of visiting family members.
