Police have opened a criminal probe of Professor Hillel Weiss for cursing the IDF's Hevron Brigade Commander Yehuda Fuchs during the expulsion of two Jewish families from Hevron this week. Prof. Weiss declared his hope that Fuchs's "parents would be bereaved, his wife would become a widow and his children orphans."
Prof. Weiss defended his statements, saying they that cursing is protected by freedom of speech. He added that if police and the government want to investigate people for cursing, they should start with soccer fans.
