Bicyclists now can fly their bicycles around the world via El Al, which is offering passengers the opportunity to load their bikes free of charge and without considering them as extra baggage. Previously, passengers had to pay up to $10 a pound.

El Al said that more than 1,000 Israelis take their bicycles on its planes while others avoid the extra charge but end up having to rent bicycles that often are not suitable for their needs.
