The lifeguards on Israel's beaches will go on partial strike this weekend, in the same way that they did last weekend. They will cease working at 5 PM on both Friday and Saturday. The strike last weekend cost the lives of three people, who drowned in three separate incidents in Netanya and Ashdod.

The strikers will include lifeguards at Rishon LeTzion, Ashkelon and Ashdod, but lifeguards in Tel Aviv and Haifa, who are employed directly by the municipalities, will work regular hours.
