(IsraelNN.com) Jerusalem Mayor Uri Lupoliansky announced Wednesday that he will make an effort to have the apartments constructed by Heftziba at Har Homa recognized as fit for residence, and to connect them to water and electrical supply. He said he would be working towards this end with Lev Levayev, the owner of construction company Danya-Cebus.

Meanwhile, the Department for Legal Aid in the Justice Ministry announced today that it would be assisting Heftziba's clients whose salary levels made them eligible for such assistance.

The owner of Heftziba Construction Company has apparently fled abroad and an associate of his tried to commit suicide, as news of the company's collapse spread recently.
