Palestinian Authority terrorists who were granted amnesty as part of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert’s “good will” gestures to Fatah PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas reneged on their end of the deal, according to a report by WorldNet Daily.
The amnesty agreement called for the terrorists to turn in all their weapons and sign contracts promising not to return to terrorism. In exchange, the government would abandon its efforts to find and arrest the 178 fugitives on the list.
The report said that most of those on the list, primarily members of Fatah’s al-Aksa Martyrs Brigades terrorist organization, have not turned in their weapons, nor have many of them even signed the amnesty contracts.
