Adgo Salehu, a Jewish immigrant from Ethiopia, has protested quietly for two years by sitting with handmade signs opposite the Absorption Ministry.
Salehu was joined Monday by scores of activists, friends and acquaintences who demanded that his caravan (trailer home), removed by an Absorption Ministry contractor while he visited his mother's grave, be returned to him.
Activists chanted "Give Adgo his rights back" and "Return Adgo's caravan" while blowing whistles and decrying the callous nature of taking someone's home due to a debt of a few thousand shekels.
