In a meeting on Monday with Norwegian Foreign Affairs Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, Israel’s President, Shimon Peres criticized Norway for being the first European nation to announce it would talk to Hamas.

Støre informed Peres that Oslo has since severed all ties to Hamas and that Norway is now only in contact with PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas and his followers.
