Israel is refusing to meet a British imposed deadline set for Tuesday concerning the case of an IDF officer, Captain Hib al-Heib, suspected of killing British filmmaker James Miller in Gaza four years ago. British officials have stated that after Tuesday they will begin prosecuting al-Heib for murder and seek his extradition to the UK to stand trial.
IDF officials said Miller's death was thoroughly investigated by the military police, and the findings cleared Al-Heib and other soldiers of any wrongdoing in the matter.
