      Israeli Flag Burned In Shfaram

On Sunday, hundreds of Arabs and Jewish left-wing activists marched through Shefaram, located in a heavily Arab populated region within the Galilee, commemorating two years since the lynching of IDF deserter Eden Natan Zada, by an Arab mob. During the march, Arab youth burned an Israeli flag.

Israeli right-wing activists petitioned the police earlier this week to allow them to carry out a demonstration in Shefaram to protest the fact that those suspected of involvement in the lynch had not been prosecuted.
