IDF to Recruit Diaspora Teens For Secret Hi-Tech Course Reported: 11:02 AM - Aug/06/07
(IsraelNN.com) In the coming months, the IDF is planning on opening one of its most prestigious and secret courses, Talpiot, to potential new immigrants in the Diaspora. Those enrolled in the Talpiot course specialize in hard sciences such as physics and mathematics. After training and studying for three years, course participants receive degrees in physics and mathematics. Upon completion of the course, each soldier gains the rank of officer, and they must commit to serve in the Defense Ministry's Research and Development Directorate or highly classified units in the air force for an additional six years. The Talpiot program requires a very high security clearance; prospective recruits from abroad will have to pass a stringent security check in order to be able to participate. ![]() Check out the Chill Zone - Funny, Entertaining Videos © IsraelNN Syndications - This article may not be republished freely.
