Despite a promise by Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's office Friday to substantially revise upwards approximate NIS 83 per month assistance to be provided to Israeli Holocaust survivors – which survivors' group called “pathetic” - a protest march, called “March of the Living,” will take place Sunday. The groups had originally canceled the protest march after the meeting Friday, supposedly at Olmert's request, but decided after further deliberations to hold the protest.

Spokespeople for the two largest survivors' groups said that about 5,000 people were expected at the march, which would be held outside Olmert's office in Jerusalem.
