The Syrian Foreign Office has handed in a report to a United Nations committee in which it blames Israel of abusing the Druze residents of the Golan Heights.

In its reports to a UN committee looking into Israeli "human rights" abuses, Syria claims, among other things, that Israel buries nuclear waste in the Golan Heights and that it is building a dam only a few meters away from the ceasefire line with Syria.
