An Arab teenager who was shot while attempting to attack border police on Thursday afternoon has died of his wounds. The young man jumped from a Palestinian Authority police vehicle earlier in the day, ran towards a nearby Israeli checkpoint, and began attacking the border police in a possible attempt to be arrested.
Officers opened fire on the attacker, seriously wounding him. A Red Crescent ambulance took him to a hospital in Ramallah, where he died after a short time.
