Darkness Halts Lightning-Express 5-5 Tie

(IsraelNN.com) Tuesday's game between the Tel Aviv Lightning and Ra'anana Express ended in a 5-5 tie when darkness halted the contest. In other games, the Beit Shemesh Blue Sox strengthened its first-place standing with a 7-6 victory over the Petach Tikva Pioneers. The Blue Sox stole an astonishing 11 bases and also drew nine walks.

The Modi'in Miracles shut out the Netanya Tigers 5-0 at Gezer Field.

Wednesday's games include a doubleheader at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. between the Miracles and the Express at Gezer Field. Also at 5 p.m., the Tigers host the Blue Sox, and the Lightning and Pioneers will play at Yarkon Field at 7 p.m.
