British Prime Minister Gordon Brown held a news conference with United States President George Bush on Monday in which he announced that he supports Bush’s plan for creating a Middle East “Peace Council” to discuss the conflict between Israel and the Palestinian Authority.  Bush has called for Israel to relinquish land to the PA for the creation of a new Arab state in Judea and Samaria.

Brown announced that he also supports Bush in calling for harsh sanctions against Iran.  He expressed support for the “War on Terror” as well, calling terrorism “a crime against humanity.”
