According to Omedia, IDF soldiers recently rescued two Israeli Arab children from Taibe from a group of kidnappers. The children were kidnapped by family members from Shechem who had fought with their father.
The kidnappers attempted to bring the children to Shechem, which is controlled by the Palestinian Authority and therefore off-limits to Israelis. However, soldiers suspected that something was not right, stopped the car, and prevented the kidnappers from continuing on to Shechem. The children were returned to their family, and a complaint has been filed against the three kidnappers.
