IDF soldiers found a gun on Monday night while searching an Arab car south of Shechem. The gun was confiscated, and the two Arab men in the car were arrested and taken to security services for questioning.
At approximately the same time, soldiers near Gaza found a bomb along the security fence, near Kibbutz Nirim. The bomb was destroyed in a controlled explosion. Terrorists then opened fire on the soldiers. No soldiers were injured in the attack.
