Leading Likud members Uzi Landau and Knesset Member Michael Eitan said Monday afternoon they are against moves to oust party chairman candidate Moshe Feiglin from the Likud. Feiglin heads the Jewish Leadership faction.
Feiglin was the lone challenger to Binyamin (Bibi) Netanyahu after MK Silvan Shalom pulled out of the race, but world Likud chairman Danny Danon has since announced he also will run for the post of party leader. Elections are to be held in two weeks.
