(IsraelNN.com) Motorists will be paying two percent less for gasoline at the pump starting Tuesday night at midnight, after the monthly adjustment of the government-controlled price ceiling for fuel takes effect. The drop comes after a long string in increases based on hikes in the world market.

The price of 95 octane benzene will be 6.16 shekels, before discounts of up to 30 agorot a liter at self-serve stations.
