A 14-year-old hareidi-religious teenager managed to escape from three men who grabbed him while he was walking in Jerusalem’s Sanhedria neighborhood Sunday morning.
The teen said the men forced him into their car and started driving out of the city, but had to stop at a red light, at which time he fled his kidnappers.
After his escape the teen called his mother, who notified the police as to her son’s location. Officers picked up the youth and brought him to the Minorities Unit to give a statement. According to Haaretz, the kidnappers were apparently Arabs. Police threw a dragnet around the city in an effort to capture the suspects.
