Real estate stocks plunged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange Sunday, dropping by 4.4 percent following a 6-percent loss by the end of last week. The TASE opened to sharp trading losses, and by 11:30 a.m. turnover had reached NIS 100 million.
Other stocks that fell significantly included Elbit Imaging and Alrov, with drops of 6 percent and 8 percent respectively. The TA-25 mutual fund was down 3.3 percent by noontime, the TA-100 down by 3.9 percent and the Tel-Tech fell by 5.3 percent.
U.S. and European markets were similarly down last week.
